Wow! World Book Day 2025 was spectacular!

Activities galore!

World Book Day 2025 was spectacular for Ablekids Press as our authors and illustrators sprang into action. It may have been a week ago but the buzz from that inspirational day hasn’t faded. Now we have some wonderful photos courtesy of The Family Centre in Inverness, Millbank Primary School and illustrator, Marjory Tait. These photos give an insight into the range of incredible activities authors and illustrators deliver during visits to schools and early learning centres. Phew! What an amazing mix! Pauline had great fun entertaining families with her ‘Where is Wee MacNessie?’ book, character storybag and song. Liza and Marjory were kept busy with multiple sessions built around their book, ‘The Musician’s Storyflower’. And Liza left sweet peas for the children to plant. Marjory showed how to make markers for flower pots in anticipation of the sunflowers the children will grow as part of their Storyflower Project after Easter.
